That there is only one true God, and that he exists in three persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, is co-equal, and co-eternal with the Father, although he willingly submits to the Father in all things. See John 1:1-3; Philippians 2: 5-11; Hebrews 1:3. We believe that he was born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that he is fully God and fully man, and that he died on the cross to redeem us from our sins and reconcile us to God. He rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. See Luke 1 and 2; John 1:1-18; John 3:16; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 1:20.
That the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; indwells and empowers every believer, placing them in the body of Christ (baptism of the Spirit) and he seals them in Christ . See John 16:5-11; Ephesians 1:13, 14; I Corinthians 12:12-13.
That the Bible is the fully inspired and authoritative Word of God. That it is true, and our only source of truth for life and practice. It is God’s all-sufficient, complete and final revelation to man. See 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20; Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 22:18-19.
In short, we believe in the Trinity, in the authority and power of the Word of God, in a real place called heaven and a real place called hell. We believe in God’s love and in God’s justice. The two are not in conflict. We believe that every local church is a local expression of the much larger and richer and fuller body of Christ. We believe that we’re sinners in need of a Savior, and that Jesus Christ is that Savior.
We believe that the main things are the plain things of Scripture and that the plain things are the main things.
In Essentials—Unity; in Non-Essentials—Freedom
Our goal is to preach Christ, and to stick to the essentials.

God has created us to be worshipers. We believe in a glorious God who is worthy of all our praise and adoration. We see our primary function as a church to be worship. Our goal, every time we meet, is to encounter the living God through worship (which, by the way, is not just singing), praise, prayer and the ministry of the Word of God.
People need the Lord. He sent his Son to die on the cross for us because there was no other way. If it was at all possible for us to get right with God by keeping rules and doing good works, do you think that God would have sent his Son to die? Paul wrote in Galatians 2:21, "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the works of the Law, then Christ died needlessly."* In Ephesians 2:8-9 we read, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."* We are not save by works, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6*) So we see our secondary reason for being here to be sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
A third reason that we're here is to build one another up in the faith. Our ministry is to the Lord, then to one another, then to the world. We believe that we'll never get our outreach (evangelism and service) right until we get our upreach (worship) right.
