Hello

My name is Gary Kubat and my wife's name is Dawn.  (My dog's name is Remington)

I’ve lived in the Bitterroot Valley for 20 years.  My wife and I raised our child here and have worked here as a home builder and bison rancher while volunteering as Fire Chief and EMT.  I am the Church Elder who represents Sula Community Church.  Our church is a small western country church.

Our worship music is a simple, sweet country sound comprised of old hymns and some contemporary mixed in as well. Most people that come tell us that it reminds them of how they went to church when they were growing up years ago.  The welcoming love in Sula Church is another aspect that is extended to our guests and new attendees are welcomed with joy.  People who come and stay are looking for a place to worship in an old-fashioned sense of simplicity while standing on the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.

The preaching is from the Bible, as we go book-by-book and verse-by-verse.  Our mission is to serve Christ and to serve others as unto Him.

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” Matthew 20:28. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, willingly went to the cross for our salvation.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” John 3:16.  Our hope is in Christ and we are to serve Him with joy.  Devote yourself to prayer and emphasize hospitality.  Jesus tells us, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the great and foremost commandment.  The second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 22:37-39.  We would welcome you to visit our church on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m.
